Palm Springs - LOCATION

The Palm Springs is located at Brgy. Domoit, Lucena City in the province of Quezon. Lucena City is a first class, highly urbanized city in Quezon Province and the provincial capital. It is known by various names such as the “Queen City of Southern Luzon Region”, the “Biofuel City”, the “Coco Palm City of the South”, and “The Gateway to the South”.

Lucena City is in between two rivers, the Dumacaa River on the east and the Iyam River on the west. There are six creeks and seven other rivers that serve as the natural drainage of the city. There is a port on the coast along the Tayabas Bay and Lucena Airport. The airport serves no commercial flights, but light aircraft can make use of the airport.

There are many schools and universities located near Palm Springs. Residents can easily find a suitable institution for their children from preschool up to college. Some schools/universities include the Southern Luzon State University – Lucena Campus, the St. Anne College, the Calayan Educational Foundation, the International School for Better Beginnings, and the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, among many others.

Health needs is not a problem because hospitals such as the MMG General hospital, the Mt. Carmel Diocesan Hospital and Medical Center, the Lucena United Doctors Hospital and Medical Center, and the Quezon Memorial Medical Center are just nearby.

For shopping needs, malls and shopping venues such as SM City Lucena, the Pacific Mall, the Savemore Agora, the Sioland Department Store, the Lucena Public Market, and the Super Metro Lucena are within the vicinity of the property.

Additionally, churches are also nearby such as the Bible Baptist Church, the Jesus is Lord Church, the Iglesia ni Cristo, the Jesus Miracle Crusade, the Grace Baptist Church, and the Our Lady of Penafrancia Parish.

One of the reasons why Palm Springs is ideal is because of its close proximity to the Lucena Grand Central terminal (LGCT, which makes traveling via public transportation to and from the property an ease. There are buses, UV Express, and jeepneys that provide transportation services to all destinations, such as Manila, Visayas, and Mindanao (via RoRo). For provincial buses, trips are usually from 5 AM to 7 PM, although there are bus lines that offer 24-hour service with at least 10-30 minute interval.
